hi, i'm saqib hussain.
I’m just a guy who loves solving problems and building things that help others.
I built my first hardware project, a “green hybrid car,” at 14, which even got me state runner-up, and I’ve been creating stuffs ever since.
Most recently, I co-founded catalyx space.
We’re building the AWS for in-space infrastructure. In just a year, we launched a satellite, got customers, hit over a million in booked revenue, got backed by a NASA accelerator, and raised a 1.7 mil pre-seed (from HF0, f.inc, and others), at the highest valuation raised by any space tech founders from India.
Before Catalyx, I worked on a bunch of other things:
- Genie: fiverr for live learning
- Berth alert: an app to help people find available beds during covid
- Dronomos: a drone to combat mosquito-borne diseases
- Modern-day quick commerce, but for fashion
- Repair lab: doordash for gadget repairs
- Reelant: recruit through reels, basically tiktok for hiring
- and even ran a meme page for a bit, lol. (and might do it again, or just post memes on X, idk)
Most of it didn’t work out, but I learned a ton, still learning, still building.
